The Care Coalition

After facing numerous tragic losses of community members in Westchester, NY, a group of passionate individuals gathered desperate to prevent another loss caused by addiction or suicide. Ready to take charge and break down the stigma around seeking help for mental health purposes, and lessen the issue in their community and others, the Care Coalition was formed in 2018. Composed of members of the community of all ages with all different stories, the Care Coalition was born with the goal of supporting and connecting those in NEED with those who CARE.

Important Resources, Right at Your Fingertips
One of the primary reasons for creating this website was insuring there would be a directory of resources available to anyone who may need them. Our resources include both faith based and non faith based hotlines, support groups, and informational websites. Please keep in mind that these resources were submitted by members of your community and may not work the same for everyone. We have also included a testimony page where individuals can feel free to share their own stories of struggle and survival.
Explore the resources page and share additional resources that you think would benefit others in our community. Our page is ever changing and growing with your support!

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and is now active across the United States.
When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary. |
